THE IPHONE WAITLIST
Out on Android.
iPhone is next, if you ask.
Sunk Cost tells you what to play tonight — three games, an argument for each, never a list. It is out now on Android; put your name down and you will know the day it is on iPhone.
ON ANDROID? You do not need to wait. It is free on Google Play today.
Why bother
- You hear the day it lands
The list is emailed first, on the day it goes live on the App Store — not a week later when somebody posts about it.
- You decide whether it gets built
iPhone is not built yet, and how many people ask for it is genuinely what decides when it is. Every address on this list is a vote.
- One email, and that is all
No newsletter, no drip campaign. One message when there is something to install, and then the list is deleted.
What you are waiting for
An app that does not ask you to organise anything. It knows how long you have got tonight, what you already own, and how long each of those takes to finish — and it answers with three games and a reason for each. It counts the hours you owe and the years your oldest game has sat there, and it does not soften the total.
Save a trailer straight from TikTok, or a store link from Steam, and it is kept — with a still you will actually recognise weeks later. Share your pile as a link and someone can open it in a browser, with no app and no account, and find out whose backlog is worse. The full tour is here.
What we do with your address
We store the email, your name if you gave one, and which platform you picked. That is the entire list. No cookie is set by that form, no analytics script runs on this page, and it is never shared with anyone — the privacy policy says so in the specific rather than the general.
One email when it is on iPhone, from waitlist@sunkcost.app. Ask to be taken off at any time, no reason needed, at that same address — and the whole list is deleted once the releases it exists for have gone out.
